  • Under the patronage of his Excellency The President of the Council of Ministers Mr. Saad Hariri, Lebanese Palestinian Dialogue Committee, in partnership with Central Administration of Statistics - Lebanon and Palestinian Bureau of Statistics, is launching the announcement of the results of "National Population and Housing Census of Palestinian Camps and Gatherings in Lebanon", December 21st - 11 a.m. at the Grand Serail, Beirut.

  • Launch of the Skills Gap Analysis in Tripoli and the North
  • The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) flagship project in Lebanon –Together towards Sustainable Development (T2SD) – jointly with the Tripoli Special Economic Zone (TSEZ) is launching the Skills Gap Analysis in Tripoli and the North on 14 December 2017. The Skills Gap Analysis will be launched during a seminar held at the Order of Engineers and Architects in Tripoli, one of the most remote and impoverished areas across Lebanon.

  • the Lebanon Mine Action Center at the Lebanese Armed Forces, the Parliament and UNDP are organizing the first parliament session for Mine victims. This exceptional session will include mine victims instead of MPs raising questions to the members of parliament and government.

  • UNDP is supporting the vision and efforts of the municipalities of Burj Hammoud, Zahleh, and Al Mina to hire women municipal police through an original Audio-Visual Exhibition which includes documentaries about steps taken by municipal authorities to recruit women.

  • From 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day, the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign is a time to incite action to end violence against women and girls around the world.
