Description:
The Urb-Hackathon, organized by e-EcoSolutions and IPT Energy Center (IPTEC), is taking place for the first time in Lebanon & the Middle-East, under the patronage of the President of the Council of Ministers His Excellency Mr. Saad Hariri, in collaboration with Universcience – La Cité Des Sciences et de l’Industrie, and with the strategic support of Berytech, the Order of Engineers & Architects of Beirut, UNDP, GCNL, USJ, and the French Institute in Lebanon.
Under the theme "Data-Urbanism: Reducing City Air Pollution from Transport", the Awards Ceremony will include a projection of the projects done by groups of passionate Lebanese professionals and university students using the most technological, advanced and innovative ways. By participating in the Urb-Hackathon, these groups have the chance to turn their ideas and suggestions into projects that may be implemented by concerned authorities to solve the problems experienced by Lebanese cities.
