In line with safety guidelines issued by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, UNDP developed guidelines specifically for shelter works, outlining responsibilities of contracting companies in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tailored to the context of informal areas in Lebanon and Palestinian Gatherings specifically, these guidelines aim to protect the health and well-being of targeted communities and beneficiaries as well as workers during implementation of shelter rehabilitation works. Their content can be adapted by organizations planning shelter works, based on the specific contexts in which they are operating.
