Mechanisms for stability and local development

The Mechanisms for Stability and Local Development constitutes a methodology or new approach that aims to reinforce stability factors and strengthen the capacity of host communities to face and address multiple challenges. This takes place through activating the partnership between the municipality and the local community and supporting them to develop a Local Stability and Development Plan that includes ideas for direct interventions. These mechanisms came as a new methodology merging the Maps of Risks and Resources (MRR) with the Mechanisms for Social Stability (MSS).

Currently, local communities have been supported to develop Local Action Plans, as a first step, that enables them to identify the urgent priorities of their town and thus identify appropriate projects that contribute to developing the stability and local development plans in the future.

To view and download the “Local Action Plan”, please select the province below, then the name of the town from the list.
